EB1-EA I-140 approved at TSC

I applied for my green card under the EB1-EA category on 02/02 and just got an email from CRIS at 11.45 pm today (02/15) saying it's been approved :) Can anyone tell me how long after the status changes to "approval notice sent" does it take to receive the actual approval notice by mail?

Timeline:

02/02 - E-filed (went to TSC)
02/06 - Mailed supporting documents and requested premium processing
02/07 - LUD; 2 emails from TSC: 1 email saying PP request received, next email saying case approved(software glitch); Case Status: Request for premium processing (This is when they got the request to upgrade to premium processing)
02/08 - LUD; Case Status: Same as before
02/09 - LUD; Case Status: Response to request for evidence and case processing resumed. (This is when they received my supporting documents)
02/10 - LUD; Case Status: Same as before
02/15 - LUD; email from CRIS saying Approval Notice Sent; Case Status: Approval Notice Sent

I'm not 100% sure but I think the lawyer mailed the PP request and the supporting documents together.

Congratulations for your approval.
It should take between 1 and 2 weeks. My EB1 was approved on 01/22/07. I received my approval notice on 01/30/07.

- 5 years of work experience
- Authored two books and been a contributing author to two more
- Written around 5-7 articles published in Computer Science journals
- Bachelors and Masters from a big ten university
- Spoken at many conferences in the US and Asia
- Got 9 letters from professors as well as people in the industry saying how my books and articles have helped them

Deena, could you check with your lawyer if he did send the documents and pp request together on one address...and what was that.

I hope you are saying that your I-140 got approved not your 485, right??

Yes he did send both the supporting documents and the pp request together. I dont know the address though.
 
Hello Deena,

I got my approval notice in hand today. You may not have to wait for long!:D

I actually got 2 approval notices today, one dated 02/13/07 and the other 02/14/07. :confused: Has anyone experienced a similar situation? I am guessing that I should use the later for I-485.

Efiled I-140 17/01/07 went to TSC
Mailed Supporting Info 01/23/07
Mailed PP (I-907) on 02/03/07
Fake approval and PP receipt emails on 02/03/07
CRIS email 02/14/07
797 approval notice received 02/20/07
