I have EAD status and my wife has an E2 visa. We have a small business in the United Kingdom (since 2001) which continues to trade as a consultancy business. We also have a business out here (not the same type of business) and I have a job offer from a US employer who is happy to submit EB3 for me. Someone recently suggested that I may be able to use my UK business to apply for a L1A or EB1-C visa. I had previously thought that my business in the United Kingdom was too small for this to be considered.
Questions:
1)Was the person who suggested the idea talking rubbish or can it be done?
2)What size turnover must my UK business have to qualify and should it have a minimum number of employees?
3)What are the steps to be taken?
