EB1-A Validity question

Hello Sir,

I listened to your Q&A call today, and I truly appreciate the support you provide to the community. You addressed large number of questions with exceptional professionalism and courtesy. Thank you for that.

I have two specific questions for which I would appreciate your guidance:

Question 1:
I would like to confirm whether I may qualify for the EB-1A criterion regarding “Evidence of published material about you in professional or major trade publications or other major media.”

I recently won first place in a global hackathon conducted by my company and have also received a few internal awards. My company shared these achievements on its official LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook pages, and the posts received significant engagement (200+ reactions/comments).

If I arrange for articles about these achievements to be published in public media platforms such as HackerNoon, Medium, Patch, or TAPInto, would those publications satisfy the EB-1A criterion for “published material about the beneficiary in professional or major media”? I would appreciate your suggestions on whether this approach is appropriate.

Question 2:
My SOC code under my H-1B petition is 15-1299.08 (Computer Systems Engineers/Architects). Based on my research on the FLAG website, my current base salary is $20–30K above the Level IV wage for my area. In this situation, would this be considered sufficient to meet the EB-1A criterion for “Evidence that you command a high salary or other significantly high remuneration in relation to others in the field”?

Thank you again for your time and guidance.
