Here is my qualification:

1. PhD in Medical Sciences, 2000, US. Cancer research. Currently a postdoc in a top-20 university.

2. 13 peer-reviewed journal papers, 6 of them first author. 11 conference presentations.

3. Three professional memberships.

4. Principal invesitgator of one grant; major invesitgator of 7 grants, including a NIH and a American cancer Society.

5. 6 reference letters, all from professors who know me.

7. Co-inventor of one pending patent.

8 About 30 publication citations.

9. One school media coverage of my PhD work.

10. 2 small awards.

11. Member of two thesis committees.

12. Communications with other scientists who requested experimantal materials from me.

Did you file it concurrently ?

TSC is really slow, taking ~ 1 year. That's kind of frustrating.

Not concurrent filing.

Yes. It is very frustrating to wait for a little more than a year to hear from BCIS. But I kept waiting patiently during the past year, no phone call to the BCIS, not even to my attorney, just hoping that the day will eventually come. I was surprisingly pleasant to find out online that my petition was approved. I have expected to get a RFE, as I thought my case was not too strong. So keep up your hope and miracle can happen.
