I am new to this valuable forum, and appreciate anyone’s feedback/ comments. My wife has similar situation with some of you who have EB adjustment and FB adjustment pending at the same time – and still waiting for GC approval. I sponsored her through my US Citizenship in Feb 2010. She withdrawed her EB adjustment on May 2010, after pending since 2003. We went through our FB interview last week, June 4, in Santa Ana, CA. The interview went well, but the officer did not issue an approval. He said that he need to request/ merge the EB3 file from Nebraska. The officer took my wife I-94 and told her to follow up with info pass if after 30 days still no decision. I showed the copy of the EB withdrawal and the officer took it. At closing of interview, the officer gave us an interview result letter with statement read – Please inquiry in 30 days. There is another file that needs to be reviewed before adjudication.
Now, upon reading similar threads in this forum, I am growing more concern of the possibility of the very long wait ahead of us. My question for those who are in same boat and still waiting: did the immigration officer collect your I-94, and what is the statement read in your interview result letter? Question for everyone who read my post - do you know anyone in similar situation and end up getting the GC? If so, how long is the wait from the FB interview date and what did he/ she do to finally get the GC successfully? Thank you for reading and posting your comments!
