EB-485 Process for the 2nd-FP victims

dear folks.

i've received the 2nd FP notice - scheduled: Aug 7, 2003.
i have a quick question:
(1) Will the 2nd FP just delay my 485 approval or ... should i be
happy as at least i know my case was touched recently ?
(2) is it worth ... going to the BCIS office earlier than the
scheduled date (Aug 7) ??

my eac# is 02-108-5xxxxx

You should be happy you received your FP notice - many people have passed the 15 month deadline, and not received the notice!

As to whether your case was touched - its hard to say from the FP notice - as I've heard that it isn't sent by an officer.

You could go earlier for your FPs - I'm not sure as to teh benefit of it, but if all they're waiting for is your FPs, maybe you'll get processed faster?
 
guys, how long is the fp valid for, is it three month we have after we get the fp notice, please post the details

FP is valid for 15 month after FP given at local Office .
 
My FP were also in April - I hope they don't send me to the 2nd FP. When exactly in April were your FP taken? Mine were taken on Apr-12 and cleared on Apr-25. By the way, I am sorry that your case is further delayed with the 2nd FP.
