My current employer just filed the ETA last Friday, so I am hoping to get the labor certification in 3 months. The plan is to submit my green card application using eb-3 because I have a bachelor's degree in engineering and I was born in Malaysia. I heard that if I file for I-485 it would take about 3 years to complete because of the visa quota now. So I have been debating if I should look for another job that requires BS + 5 years of experiences to qualify for eb-2 filing. How much time do I really save if I were to file under eb-2 vs. eb-3?
