Folks,

I got my BE degree in REC trichy in electircl engg. I have been in US since Aug 2000, and applied for GC in Aug 2005 EB 2 categ thru my currently consulting company for the first time, as we always thought of going back and never applied before. I have a I 140 approved too here. I am now seriously thinking of this :

Go back to India where I am from, and ask my present company to do CP,and work in india for some company back there on some of the new technologies, and if our dates are current can we get our GC and come back and work for this company ?

what are the pros and cons of it ?

Your views will help me make a decision

Legally, if you have good relation with your employer it should be possible. However, if I were in your situation, I would consult an attorney like Rajiv Khanna before I make a move to India.(Pay like $100-$200/hr and discuss your entire case over phone).

If you need career advice, I think http://groups.msn.com/R2IClub would be the right forum for a such a question.
