Eb-2 Niw Or Eb-1 ?

Hi Friends,

The following is my profile:

1)Two Masters (one from India and MBA from the US)

3)Three Professional certifications (one from India (AICWAI) and CMA and CPA from the US)

4)Around 15 years of experience, currently working as Controller on H1B.

5) 3 Professional association memberships, AICWAI,CMA and CPA.

6) I can get 7-8 strong refence letters including from my current employer.

No publications, so no citations :(

What are my options here to get a green card. Do I stand a chance to by-pass the Labour Certification? I contacted a lawyer and he says that it is very difficult to prove the NYSDOT conditions. What do you all think?

If I want to file this myself, which is the best "do-it-yourself" kit available?

I think your lawyer gave you the right advice. You stand no chance unless you have done something extraordinary in your filed which could be used to bypass labor certification.

Please read the stickies that are on the top of first page of this forum. This should give you an idea about tha bar for EB1-EA and NIW. If you don't have at least newspaper coverage about you, I don't think you have a chance without LC. On the other hand, I do know tons of people who have sucessfully gone through LC.
