EB-2 IT software development job descriptions wanted!!!

I've got stuck with a weird problem. My manager doesn't know how to write the job description for me correctly. However, the lawyer (the company has picked them, but not me) is not supportive at all, and I can't change him.
So, I ask about help. I need job descriptions which you guys have used for PERM EB-2 process. The area is software development (programming, analysis). The position is something like Sr. Software developer/programmer/analyst.

I'm not going to copy any description. They are required just as examples.

Thanks in advance.

Hello there... you have an EB-3 priority date of 8/24... by the time you apply for EB-2, you would have lost 6 months of priority date... now delta of EB-2 and EB-3 is 1.5 years so you will have an advantage of about an year... this against letting go of an approved PERM and getting EB-2 PERM in difficult software catagory with unsupportive lawyer and clueless Manager... think about it...

Of coure, if you have changed jobs, ignore my mail.

No, I'm still with the same employer. However the difference betweeen EB-3 and EB-2 is much greater than 1.5 years. For me it's 4+ years (I'm from "Other countries"). I know it's difficult to get EB-2 perm, however, I want to make this step. I'm just curious how lucky I am. ;-)

The best way is to pick up the description that DOL provides for that job description and add detail to it to tailor what you do.

It's a great idea, however the original programmer description satisfies EB3 requirements only. My manager wants to understand what kind of flavor should be added. That's the problem.

Just look at this. Computer Systems Analyst, Computer Software Engineer, Computer Programmer O-Net descriptions require 2 to 4 years of experience and Bachelor or less degree. I'm just wondering how some people were able to get EB-2 LC approved under those categories. Even adding a prefix Sr. must haven't helped them. However, there are a lot of successfully certified cases. So, the key must be in the job descriptions and this is exactly what I'm interested in.

I hope I've made my point real clear.

BTW, some help is still required. If somebody could share some info with me, I would greatly appreciate that.

There is a huge difference between "Dice" job desc and LC one. I have no problem writing my actual job desc, but it will cause business necessity audit from DoL. I've been looking for a job desc which DoL agrees with.

just a generic question... when anybody files labor first with EB3, how can they upgrade to EB2 again... if it is the same Employer and same offer, how will DOL accept that job title for that person is now upgraded and minimum requirements also higher... won't they check the history to find that same person filed labor with same company in the past with less requirements.. how can you argue that person A was hired for Job A in the past but same job title and description (when the person was hired) is now changed to A+. Doesn't that mean that one of the applications is fradulant?

Same employer, same alien, different position. The explanation is real simple. If a person was hired as a Computer Programmer, it doesn't mean, that LC must be filed for Computer Programmer position. You can indicate Sr. Computer Programmer title in ETA 9089 or even a Manager position. It's all about future employment. And if the company agrees to give this Sr or Manager position to the employee (who is a Comp. Programmer now), why it should be considered as a fraud by DoL?

I'm in CA, but the fact that I got EB-3 doesn't make me happy. Taking into account the retrogression and slow cut off date movement, I assume, that my PD will be current in 4-8 years and it's sucks, man.
I'm not going to waste 8 years of my life living in this country with no rights.

You are so lucky since you have already been certified. Can you tell in which state do you work?
