Does It qualify for EB-2: exceptional ability in the sciences.

An official academic record showing the alien has a degree, diploma, certificate or similar award from a college, university, school or other institution of learning relating to the area of exceptional ability;
1) Master of Technology in Electrical Engineering

Letters documenting at least ten years of full-time experience in the occupation being sought;
2) 3 YR Exp in Research (Hydrology) & related Software Dev + 8 Years of Software Development in IT and presently working in IT as a Technical Team Lead / Senior IT Architect

Evidence that the alien has commanded a salary or other remuneration for services which demonstrates exceptional ability;
3) Annualy salary of $90,000

Recognition for achievements and significant contributions to the industry or field by peers, government entities, professional or business organizations.
4) Three Research papers published in indian local journals - no record available

But USCIS is asking about other evidences as well to avoid Labor cert process (NIW), DO YOU THINK i QUALIFY HERE I want to file on my own?

I have been looking at that for a long time, even consulted with a lawyer. He told me that you need at least 10 pubs in american journals and also, 10 - 12 recommendation letters, showing how good you are. I since dropped it, as I don't have the publications.

You are confusing Exceptional Ability (EB2) with Extraordinary Ability (EB1)
 
That is what the lawyer told me. Good luck to kgp if he can qualify for EB2 and carry it through. I don't have enough to carry it successfully.
