First of all let me appologize for the delay in posting this info. I was out and only recently got the approval notice for my I-140, which was filed a long time ago! Here are the details.

I-485 filed in October, 2002 - Pending

It's amazing how VSC is still clearing up March 02 cases. Looks like the attitude to have under OR, is to file and forget ...

Could you post more details about your qualifications?

How many papers did you have? How many reference
letters did you send to BCIS and what kind of paperwork the
university need to sign?


By the way, did you apply by yourself or through lawyer?
 
EB1 / I-140s approved

Hi. Wanted to share with you that my 2 I-140 applications are now approved at VSC

EB1 - One researcher, One EA Business executive

ND: 06/03/02
AD (Researcher): 07/16/03
AD (Business Exec): 10/02/03

We filed two given my attorney's cousel to cover all bases since my job matches both categories. Both applications are company sponsored.

I-485 info - still pending:

ND: 09/13/02
AD: ?

Hang in there. Note the difference in time for approvals of two applications submitted, on the same day, mailed by the same lawyer in one package.
