I have Masters Degree and 3 years of Research & Development experience with a Research Institute of Indian Government. I have
ONE Research papers published in Indian Journals.
Three papers Presented and published in National Symposium.
ONE Paper Presented and published in National workshop.

After that I moved to USA with a US based computer company with job responsibility of Research, Design and Develop computer applications, and had total over 8 years of experience.

Do you think that I have strong enough case to apply under this category?

Thanks
KGP.

i dont think your publications in indian journal counts much (that exactly is not international class, indian journals are not internationally peer reviewed). If you had some european or american/canadian journals or japanese journals that would have helped. thats just my opinion. if somebody has a different opinion i respect that.

You can look at the NIW & EB1 forum to see how your case compares to others'. I doubt one publication, however great its quality may be, would impress the CIS. I got the impression from the forum that one not only has to have quite a few publications, but also has to have them cited by many.
I'm an assistant prof at a so so univ with 7 pubs in US journals/20 citations (which is typical for people at my level & in my field -- social science), and my lawyer didn't say a word about EB1. He's got a pretty good record of assisting people following EB1 routes (mainly medical/cancer researchers with huge federal grants) in my region.
I wonder how your government experience is factored in for all this..
