During the period for which they requested earning statements, if we have got a bonus or cashed out some of our vacation do we need to include a copy of these statements as well. Appreciate your shdding light on these.

jmsy,

You may want to provide little more background when you are asking some question and expect people to respond.

I am assuming you got an RFE and you\'ve been asked to provide earning statements. My understanding is that INS is looking for paystubs and nothing more than that. I have also been asked to provide earning statements for last two months which I did. I think the purpose of Paystubs is primarily to establish the name of the employer and not the earnings itself. They ask for W2s if they want to confirm how much you are getting paid compared to what was in you labor petition. Monthy or biweekly paystubs can not used to accurately determine the yearly salary in my opinion.

Good luck.

Mera_Kya_Hoga,
Appreciate your timely repsonse.
Yes. I did get a RFE. They have asked me to submit my earnings statements for the last six months in addition to other particulars. My question is that if we have cashed in some of our accumulated vacation hours during this six month period do we need to submit documents for it as well, as part of our earning statements. (Like during the past six month period if we have asked our company to issue checks for hours from our accumulated vacation hours).

Jmsy,

In my opinion, you only need to submit the paystubs for last 6 months. Your paystubs should include all the vacation hours etc. You may want to contact your lwyer and ask if you need to provide additional supporting documents with your response.

Good luck.
