Early (walk-in) FP in Chicago?

Anyone with experience of walk-in FP in Chicago? I just received my FP notice and am out of town on that date.
There is also an instruction on the FP notice, that if I can't make the appointment, I can go any following Wednesday at the same time.
Any suggestions/advise would be appreciated.

My GF and her sis went to the Harlem ASC for FP one day before their schedule date and they were asked to come back next day (on the schedule date) or any of the following Wednesday.
I had gone to the Harlem ASC for FP 2 days before the schedule date and I was allowed to take the FP. So I guess it depends on who is checking you in.

I do not see any harm in trying to do an early FP. Just be prepared that they may not let you in and you will have to come back again.

I actually did try to go in this morning.
They told me to come back the Wednesday after my appoinment or any day after that at any time and said they do not do early FP. This is the ASC on N Broadway.
