Early FP2 in NJ

I received FP2 notice today. I want to go and try for an early FP. Does anyone have any experience on early FP2 at Newark, NJ? Can I go on Saturdays or which day will be the best? Can I go to Cherry Hill even though my notice says Newark? What is the safest and convincing reason to request for an early FP?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

In case if I don't have to go to work, I am planning on going this weekend for my Finger Printing in Newark which is scheduled on 08/07/04.

One of my friend tried early FP in Newark for four consecutive weekends and he was refused to enter and he had to go on scheduled date.

I don't know, about Newark. But in my case, I just explained about my proposed visit to India during this month end and that will extend upto September. Then the officer, accepted my request and did my FP2.

forget about the early fp.
not possible at newark, nj

infact you can't even get fp'ed a couple of hours before your scheduled time.

Thanks for your replies guys. Actually, I have decided against early FP. A month really does not make a big difference, when I am already for waiting for 18 months.

I am a little confused on seeing your post. If you know that your friend couldn't get it done even after 4 attempts, then why are you trying the same thing ? I know that it's really frustrating to wait for 1 month just for doing a FP.

I just want to try out my luck as you never know how things change from time to time

Trying doesn't hurt at all and all I will lose is my afternoon nap and some gas which is nothing compared to the pain in GC process.

Please dont waste your time and dignity by trying for early FP2 at Newark. Tried myself couple of times and failed. They treat you like a piece of dirt. Not worth it. Forget going on early date. At last I had to do my FP2 on scheduled date AND time. My appt time was 1 pm, so I went there are 9 am on the scheduled date just so I can go back to work after FP2. I was forced to wait until 12:45 pm!!! But still if you want to try, give it a shot...In my expereience, I would say don't waste that weekend ruined by INS...
