Early FP

MY 485 ND is 5/2003.
I am getting frustrated at not receiving FP notice.

I am thinking of going to local ASC like Hackensack, Newark and ask them for early FP?

Is there anything wrong in it? Will it affect my 485 case, if I do Fp withouth FP notice?

Gurus pls help
 
I think there is no harm in trying. Some people have got lucky and have been able to do FP without getting a notice.

In case I get lucky and manage to do FP, Will INS question later on why I did FP without FP notice etc etc

Technically, I believe I can go to any ASC anywhere in the US and give my FP right?
 
Nothing wrong in that, I did my FP2 last week in Memphis. If they have time they surely do otherwise they say sorry and will ask for notice....

1 Is this early FP valid for FP2 only or I can do it for FP1 also??

2 Do I need to schedule an appointment for going to ASC (like Infopass) etc or can I walkin??

Why did u just walk in? Is it becaus u got frustrated like me (with the wait) and went in?

YOu can go to any ASC right. I am from NJ but I can go to NYC ASC also right?
 
Many people on this forum have gone to ASCs in different states from their own, and have succeeded. You have to be lucky, that's it.

Some people have been sent back even when they came to the right place on a right date on the appointment date but 1 hour early. They were told to come on the right time.

It's a crazy world !!!
 
Nothing wrong in going to ASC and enquiring about it.
Your receipt date is way passed priority date.

Some times they will issue notice so that you can give finger printing.
Call them and wake up your case.
Other wise you will be sleeping and CIS thinks that they are doing damn fine and move to Jul 03 receipt date also.
