Early FP in Detroit

I got my 2nd FP notice yestarday scheduled for 06/17. Did not receive for my wife.

I am from Detroit and would like to go for early FP, if possible. Any one with similar experience in Detroit? Do they entertain early FP in Detroit? If so, how to go about it? Do I need to call them for an early appointment (If so, what is the number) or do I just walk in and try my luck?

Any suggestion highly appreciated.

you dont get preponed

by calling USCIS, however you can try your luck at fingerprinting center. They dont like people comming early, eventhough thay dont have many people in que. Sometimes, they accept case by case depends on urgency.
 
I did my 2nd FP ahead of schedule on 05/28. Scheduled dates were 06/17 for me and 06/29 for my wife. I just tried my luck and it worked.

In the mean time, I received letter from FBI regarding my name check. They say they have completed it on 03rd Jan, 2003. This was in response to my FAX request. I did not specify my email address. They sent it by mail, did not call me at my phone numbers.

I forgot to inquire about my wife. I have to do it for her now. But, I think, her case must have been cleared too.
