Early FP in ATLANTA?

I received FP notice with appointment on 03/03/2005 at Atlanta office. Can I go for early? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

In one of the threads somebody has said that early FPs are not being allowed beginning Jan 1st or so.
 
From my own experience, it's REALLY hard. Anyway, no one there is motivated to do that. That's the reality, unfortunately.
 
Early FP in Atlanta. Any recent experience?

I received yesterday my Fingerprint Notice. No LUD change on my USCIS portfolio.

Has anybody tried recently to just walk in for an early Fingerprint in Atlanta (before scheduled date for FP)?

Or would I have to make an appointment at any rate before I go there?

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you!

Tried and failed in early Jan

I tried to get an early FP done in ATL in January and they turned me away. They were not busy but wouldn't do it. You can try your luck but I wouldn't count on it much.

My FP is expiring. Can i go for a FP without getting a notice from the service center or do i need to get a letter and then only i can go for a FP.
 
Early FP in Atlanta

My scheduled date for FP is April 21. Since it is kinda long time to wait, I just went there last Saturday (March 12) but was rejected stating that they might only accept walk-ins on Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays between 01:00 and 03:00 pm.
So, I tried it yesterday again (March 16) and was accepted without any problems. Their business was slow yesterday and that's why I was accepted. Everything took less than 1/2-hour.

I did early FP on March 12(Sat) without any problem. Just go ahead try and wish you good luck.

and as per that message you can request USCIS to approve your 485 faster as the FP is expiring and they seem to be doing it, but obviously the lawyer should be willing to do that for you.

Mine was approved after faxing TSC an Expedite Request due to fingerprint expiration. Approved the same day. Attach the updated file.
