Received FP notice schedule for 11/27/2003 in jamaica NY ASC
Since I am travelling to India during that period I tried to go there today, the entrance security guy said I can come any time later when I come back before 84 days of schedule date and did not allowed us.
Then I drove to another ASC in woodside NY which is like 8 miles from this ASC. To my suprise this center was totally empty only one person for doing FP in whole ASC. I cannot beleive I would see one one person for FP and few USCIS workers in NY area. The Security man was nice, listened to our story and ask If I am ready to wait as the FP technician is out for lunch and only he can make decision for this early FP. Waited 40 mins and the technician walked in and came to us and said very nicely he would have done it but it should not be month before your shedule date which is NOV 27th. He was very nice and reschedule it for Nov 13th by handwriting and his signature on original Notice.
I would suggest go to woodisde ASC as it is empty via my experience rather than Jamaica which was very much fool with few hundred people.
