Early FP and FP without notice in Boston

I just got my 2nd fingerprint notice and it is scheduled for OCt 5th. I was wondering if I can go early. Please share your experience at Boston.

Also my spouse has not received 2nd FP notice. Can he go for FP without a notice at Boston.

Our FP1 date was 06 June 03. I was hoping for approval instead received FP2 :( .

Though I have done my FP in Newark, NJ. I have seen some applicants who have successfully done their FP before their scheduled date. So no harm in trying. And I don't think that the CIS allows a person to do FP without Notice, but again when you go for yours, you can request them about your wife and if you are lucky, they might entertain you and your wife. Good Luck !
 
I had no problems with an early FP in Boston

I went almost a month early in June for a July date. They clearly noticed that I was there early but did not ask why I had come early.

The notice was the first thing they asked for at the door and later they scanned the bar code on it to pull up my records when they took my prints. There was a person there who did not have a notice who managed to have his prints taken anyhow. I overheard some of the discussion between the staff on how to enter his record. I don't know why he did not have a notice but it did not seem very routine.
 
FP in Boston after the appointment

I got my FP done after my scheduled appointment, all you need is an
FP notice from USCIS, EAD card or document showing your Alien number.
 
Early FP done at Boston

FYI, t got my FP2 done at Boston Portland office earlier than scheduled. However, they did not let my husband do his FP without notice. I had the notice, but he did not get his yet.
