Early finger prints?

Yesterday I received FP notice from VSC, which is scheduled on May.

They say it may be possible to make early FP in order to expedite this process (just go directly to USCIS office and do it).

However I heard that early FP may negatively impact on I-485 because USCIS can refuse it without prior official rescheduling.

Any comments?

Early fingerprinting is pretty common in California
