Early Finger Printing in Detroit

Has anybody gone for early fingerprinting in detroit before the scheduled date? Please post your experience.

I and my wife went for early FP in detroit. We just walked in a Friday afternoon and took the chance. The lady asked the reaason. we said we will be out of town on the scheduled date. She accomodated us. Of course, there were not many people waiting.
