Early Finger Printing at Elizabeth NJ

My assigned date for fingerprint is on 01/20 and it is at Elizabeth, NJ. Would anyone know if it is possible to do early fingerprint at this location. If so do I have to make InfoPass appointment?

Yes you can do early fingerprint at this location. Make sure you have good reason for early fingerprint. Also try to go on Saturday.
 
Thanks A****t19. I will try to go on Saturday. The reason I need to go early is because I will be on business trip during that week. I assume that you don't need InfoPass.
 
No need info pass, but make sure you bring the proof that you will be on business trip and you will be fine.

Infopass would not help.

If you are busy that week, you can go any subsequent Wednesday - that instruction has been the norm in recent times. Check you FP letter.
 
I did walk in. The guard initially told us to come back. I had to plead my case and the official from across the room mentioned us to talk to him as we were walking out. So it is hit and miss.

If you have some document able reason why you cannot do it (In my case, I was traveling but did not have the travel documents printed out), you should be able to get it done.

One thing to note is that it does not seem to help as you can see from my time line. I did FP way in advance. I am coming up on 2 mos since submission and not interview has been scheduled. So the advantages of early FP are probably nil.
 
They did not let me do walk-in before the scheduled date in Queens, NY. If you go early, make sure you have a travel itinerary with you to show that you are traveling on the scheduled date.
