Early finger print in Newark, NJ -- Please suggest

Friends,

People might have got bored answering this question, but i couldn't find relevant and i ask this question..

I got an appointment for Finger print on October 1, 04. I won't be in USA during that time. I've seen in these forums people talking about early finger print. Do i need to call some number to pre-pone it or can i just go there, if so on which days of the week, and at what time of the day should i be there.

Please suggest..

Just go there with your tickets. For one of my friend they did not accept the early FP until he proved he is really going to India
 
got my notice for FP2 scheduled on 9/21...tried to do an early FP, and went straight to the Newark office....the security rejected my request of early FP...
at least i tried! :)
