A REF was received on 1/2/01 asking copies of I20, and EADs. Sent these documents to INS on 1/6/01. AVM changes on 1/16/00, indicating the approved status.

No joy, no feeling about it. I have been U.S. for over 8 years and this good news comes too late for me.
