Early 2nd FP

I just did early 2nd FP at philadelphia. I was afraid that I would be turned down since my FP scheduled date is Oct. 21, 03.

It was a smooth process. No questions asked. The entire process took only about 30 minutes.

The ball is in BCIS court now.

I-485 RD: Dec. 31, 2001
I-485 ND: Jan. 28, 2001
First FP: April 8, 2002
RFE Sent by BCIS: May 25,2003
RFE response received by BCIS: June 24, 2003
Second FP Notice received: Sept. 10, 2003
2nd FP scheduled: Oct. 21, 03
2nd FP Completed: Sep. 18, 03

That's great. Atleast somebody got lucky.
Can you tell at what time did you go there?
Did they ask any question about why are you doing fingerprinting early etc?
Now I thinking to use this option eventhough philly is 100 miles from my place.

I did my 2nd FP early ( on 5th Aug- scheduled date was 3rd Sep) but no progress so far. FBI confirmed that report was sent to BCIS very next day. According to my lawyer - BCIS will process the file after 3rd Sep only.

Looks like being proactive is not much help here. Still better to get it done sooner than later.

I walked into BCIS office at 10.30 am. They did not ask me any questions.

Reason for 2nd FP notice might have been the status inquiry I initiated 3 weeks back.
