EAD3 Renewal Time Line - May be helpful!.

Folks,

Here is the timeline for my 3rd EAD Renewal.

1. Documents Mailed - 7/3/06
2. Documents Delivered (Receipt Date) - 7/7/06
3. Check Cleared - 7/13/06 (Posted Date 7/10/06) (LUD1)
4. Notice Date - 7/10/06
5. Notice Received Date - 7/14/06
6. Approved Date - 7/27/06. (LUD 2)
7. Cards Mailed - 7/29/06 - LUD 3

Surprisingly the third LUD says that the cards were mailed on 7/29/06 which is a Saturday.

Note: My Previous EAD expiry date was in Oct. 2006 and don't know when the new EAD start date is. Praying God that the new EAD start date is immediately after the previous one's expiry rather than the approved date.

They r doing faster. Did you go for fingerprint before approval?
I would request others to share their experiences.
Is their no way to tell those dumb a... to approve it from the day previous one is expiring? They are eating our money with these ead business.

Dear GaramChai2go,

1. I Filed my (Paper based) EAD with VSC so no Fingerprint.

2. Name Check: Well I last submitted Fingerprints for I-485 in March 05 and they expired in June 06. I called VSC to request a notice for fingerprint and to my good luck I was able to speak to a very knowledgeable representative. She took like 5 Minutes, reviewed my case and gave me the details. She said that every call she answers the applicant asks about Name check and told my name check was done Twice! and both cleared.
