Hello All

I applied for EAD,Adj. of Status on July (RD 07/11, ND 08/28). Unfortunately my Assignment got over last month. While this situation in one hand my company on the other hand is pesterising me to get a temporary EAD. They are telling that this is for record purpose. I don\'t see the necessity for a temporary EAD. Is this the first step the company takes b4 firing someone.

I am really nervous. Please help me out.

Interim EAD can be gotten after 90 days from ND

You can get an iEAD in the next few days. Company may have asked you to get an EAD and use it instead of an H1 because, I think, that being on a H1, you will have to be on the payroll. If the company does not pay an H1 employee, they will be violating some laws. So, probably that could be the reason that they are asking you to get an iEAD.
 
hi,can you let me know what are the docs we need

to take inorder to go local center and get EAD after 90 days
 
as far as I know: passport, 485 receipt, original I765 receipt

maybe utility bills to show you live in the area too.
I don\'t know what else. Others may advise.
