Hi All ,

I gave my lawyer the papers to file for an EAD etension of Jan 5th 2006. As per her, the Dallas Disctrict office wont accept my application but they finally accepted this on Feb 21st. INS requested for photo evidence which was submitted on 23rd of March. 90 days are already over since the application was accepted. I had an appointment today for my interim EAD today and the lady at the counter refused to give me the interim EAD.

As per her the 90 days period will start from March 23rd and not Feb 21st.
Is this true. Its already more than 60 days since the request of evidence was received by INS.

Any suggesstions will help as this time.

Unfortunately - yes. Each RFE resets the 90 day clock for interim EAD possibility.
