I want to renew my EAD 3rd time myself. Please let me know the elgibility category(question 16 on I-765) for me and my wife. I filed on employment based, I think it should be (C)(9), but my is a wife homeworker. What to put?

16. Go to Part 2 of the Instructions, Eligibility Categories. In the space below, place the letter and number of the category you selected from the instructions (For example, (a)(8), (c)(17)(iii), etc.).

You both should put C(9). This category is also shown in NSC processing time table. I just did for me and my spouse.

I have always used paper filing. I just got my 3rd one approved. It took me just over a month. Good luck!
 
One more question ibelieve. I-765 question no. 15. CURRENT IMMIGRATION STATUS, Do I have to put "Pending Adjustment of Status" OR "H1B". Since I'm on H1 now and it's valid until Jan '07. Thanks.
 
If you have never used AP to enter US, you should use H1 as you immigration status.

I am not an expert, just telling you my experience. Once I entered US using AP, I used AOS as my status the second time I applied EAD, athough people have long argued about H1 holder use AP issue.
