I have a I-485 pending with immi court. The case could have been closed (no objections from judge and gov-t) and transferred to regular immigration, but we decided to keep court case, so there is a certain time frame (apparently, the interview appointments for AOS can really take awhile).
The question is can I apply for EAD and will I get it at this point? I read on USCIS website that the fee for EAD is included in I-485 fee?
If in the past I have been denied EAD through asylum, will that hurt my chances?
Any advice is welcome.
