Sure, why not? The approval date was June 27th. I was also not expecting it to be approved so fast. I called IIO couple of weeks back and informed her about the pendency of my EAD & I485. I think they approved my EAD fast because my 485 is ready for final approval anytime. My 485 ND is July 18,00 and the Country comes under Others. Today, I saw one more 485 approval for ND July 19,00 from Namoona. His country is falls under Others.
I think if they had approved my 485 before my EAD, then I could have called them to stop processing my EAD as 485 had already been approved and I could have requested for the refund. Its just a wishful thinking. Don\'t know what exactly prompted them to approve it. Hope this explanation clears any confusion you might have.
