ead vs 7th year visa please some one help

Hi friends

please could u help me on this
1) i am also like same as u.when i came back to usa in august 2004 they issued me I-94 with AOS. 'am still with same employer. my 6year visa h1 is going to end by march 2005, and also i have my ead (never used) till march 2005 and iam going to renew that.

but to maintain status, 7th year visa is good or Ead is good.
because they issued me AOS on my i-94 is a'm aligible to get my 7th year visa extenstion or no more.
how to handle all these situations.

If your I-140 not approved yet, better to go for 7th H1. Though you can use EAD, it is safe to wait until I-140 approval.
AOS on your I-94 does not bar from 7th extension.

If your I-140 got approved, then you can go for EAD to save some money.

In addition I would suggest, if you r not married, H-1B is better option to bring your wife to USA before approval of I-485
