EAD validity till I-485 approval

NJ-1680 EBC radio has an interactive radio show with Attorney Paul R Rajan every Monday between 08:00 - 08:30 AM. Today Mr. Rajan said that USCIS is seriously discussing about an EAD which will have a validity through out AOS stage. He said that USCIS will start to issue these kind of EADs in a couple of month.

This is a very good news guys, and I think this is one of the things Rajiv had asked for as part of the settlement.
 
nice.....so they make us renew EAD another time.....(3rd time for me), get us to shell out another couple of hundred dollars and then make us wait for a couple of years for our 485. another scam.....instead of cutting down the approval time, they just try to put one more band-aid on....!! the whole process is just sickening.

Somthing is better than nothing ...

By the way Paul R Rajan also mentioned that in one of the meetings with USCIS, their representative said that they are trying very hard to reduce the backlog and by this year end they will try to bring backolog down to 6-9 months.
 
I think "EAD which will have a validity through out AOS stage" may have negative impact on the processing time and more uncertainty in getting GC approved due to various reasons from where I see. Especially in this jobless economy and fluctuating job market. One should remember at the time of interview, he/she whould have same job responsibilities as stated in LC. So, after couple of years things change for sure but who knows where we stand. I see more rejections if this happens due to increase in the length of processing which is an outcome of ead validity will AOS. If issueing of 3rd EAD directly or indirectly links to approval fo GC then it would be nice. one can rest in peace.
Please note: i see this from where i stand, and everyone is not is same boat.
