EAD Usage in case of RFE

My spouse is planning to work with her dependant EAD card. What happens if I get a RFE on my 140? Does she go out of status? She's currently on H4.

An RFE on your 140 has no bearing on your wifes EAD. An RFE is just a request for evidence and its normal procedure. If her EAD is valid then she can work anywhere. It might be a different matter if the 140/485 is rejected. I am not sure what happens in that instance.
