EAD usage and LC

Hi

I have applied for my LC thru substitute LC thru Vermont and got approved. But I have been working in the California area. Can I use EAD working in this area and use AC21 also if needed ? Pls explain me how it works ?

Do you mean aplied I-140 was approved through substitute LC ? EAD is issued based on pending I-485. As yet only your I-140 is approved(??) You will need to file I-485. When you file I-485 only then can you apply for EAD.

And yes, once you receive EAD you can work anywhere you want. AC21 requires that your I-485 should be pending for more than 180 says. It is also safer if your I-140 has been apprved before you can use AC21.
