EAD tracking

filed EAD separately from I-485, and waiting for EAD receipt.

I did not apply for EAD along with 485,
I-485 :
RD 4/30/01,
ND 7/10/01.
PD 11/15/99.

I filed EAD seperately on 7/24/01
waiting for the reciept.
 
Please specify if 765 was filed with 485 or later...

My RD 7/16, ND 7/19. Filed separate from 485.
 
it doesn\'t matter whether it\'s filed together with 485 or separately, it is ND matters.

I have seen people with ND 07/16/01 had got their EAD from VSC,
so I guess they are processing July cases.

My ND is 07/31/01, therefore, I am expecting EAD in next two weeks,
meanwhile , I could go to local INS to get interim EAD too. now,
it\'s not urgent for me, I want to wait for card from VSC first.

How can you go for interim EAD if your ND is 07/31/01? My ND of EAD is 06/06/01 - still waiting. Applied separately from 485.
 
i dont know why I still have not recieve my reciept,

hi, it seems your rd and nd are only 2 days diff,
but i send my EAD application in July and still no reciept yet.
how long did it take for you to get the reciept?

According to AVM my EAD Approved

on Aug 17th, and they oredred the card. But My wife EAD case is still pending.

Do you get another EAD from VSC if you get interim EAD from local INS

EAD Card received Aug 17.

Time between approval and receiving actual card

Does anyone have any idea about how much time it takes normally to get actual EAD card after approval. AVM says that EAD application has been approved on August 16 and we will send you a card when it is ready.
Any idea???
 
It took 1 week of time in my case

  Considering my case AVM said my EAD was approved on Aug 10., and I got my EAD Card on Aug 17 th.
 I think may be within this week you will be receiving your EAD Card.

VSC EAD URGENT

VSC 485/EAD/AP (FOR SELF/WIFE). ALL APPLICATIONS:
RD:6/6/2001
ND:8/6/2001

AP APPROVED (FOR BOTH SELF/WIFE): 8/9/2001

JUST CALLED AVM AND WIFE\'S EAD APPROVED ON 8/16/2001.
BUT UNFORTUNATELY, MY EAD HAS AN RFE. THE RFE LETTER
WAS MAILED AS OF 8/17/2001.

I MAILED THE CORRECT FEES, SIGNATURE FORM, AND I-765
FORM AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS WITH THE EMPLOYMENT
PACKAGE.

WONDER WHAT THE RFE IS FOR???

ALSO, MY 6-YR H-1B EXPIRES AS OF 9/26/2001. SO HAVE TO
GET THE EAD OR APPROACH LOCAL INS AFTER 90 DAYS OF
6/6/2001. ANY SUGESTIONS!!!
 
EAD approved as per AVM...

RD 7/16, ND 7/19. BTW, 485 was filed last year, this was just a 765. I guess it is going to be a week.

Hi,

I have my interim EAD from local INS office. But yesterday I got the formal EAD from VSC. The appral date is 08/14/01. I thought they share the same database before. But it seems that things are different. RD 05/04, ND 07/18.
