My husband is on H1-B. I am on H4. Our I-140 is approved. We got our EADs. I am planning to work. 180 days after filing I-485 will get over next month.
If I start working, I understand I will lose my H4 status & I will be AOS pending. My question is as follows:
1. Can I get back on H4 if I stop working, if so, how? (I have valid H4 visa stamp on my passport until 2010.)
2. If my husband changes companies, can I change to H4?
3. Can I get back on H4 without leaving the country?
Are there any disadvantages if I start working.
