Ead to H1, need help

Hi,

Is it possible for one to change status from EAD to H1 if there is some time remaining on the H1.

Does one have to go out of the country for this change or can one apply for the petition for change from EAD to H1 within US.

There is no petition to change from EAD to H1. Apply for a new H1 but count the 6 years from your first day in USA on H1.
