EAD Timeline help

When do you guys think I will be getting my EAD card? I called the help line and the lady transfered me to an immigration officer(surprised me). The officer said that they should be sending out my interview letter soon and that if I don't get my EAD when 90 days goes by, I can go to my local office and request one.
Thoughts????

Yes, the officer is correct. You can request what's called an iEAD from yoru local office if i'm not mistaken. From waht I've seen on the boards when filing for EAD it's about two - three month wait....
