EAD through Marriage to a Green card holder

My husband is a green card holder, last year ( 2010) priority date for family based green card was moving really fast. I applied for Adjustment of Status and got my EAD and advance parole, both valid till dec 2011. we were called for a green card interview. but the officer did not approve the case as dates have gone back again.

Question: My h1b will expire this year.
1) Can I move to my EAD or should I maintain my h1b.
2)Are there any chances that EAD renewal might be denied.?
3) Also, Is Pending AOS a legal status to stay in country?
4) If 485 application is denied, do I have to go back to my home country.

You filed the I-485 when your priority date was current, so you are eligible to work with the EAD and renew the EAD, and eligible to stay in the US until your I-485 is decided one way or the other.

4) If 485 application is denied, do I have to go back to my home country.
Depends on the reason for denial, and whether you have another valid status to fall back on (your H1B, if it's unexpired and you kept working for the same H1B emplyer).
