Ead Rfe Rd

I got an RFE on my EAD application issued 9/22...my paralegal told me that he fedexed VSC the documents needed about 10 days ago. However, the on-line message still still does not reflect that BCIS have gotten the documents

Is this a common experience or should I be worried?

Whats the RFE about?
Why were the supporting docs not sent with the application?

Ususally RFE replies are sent by usps, they have tracking numbers so that these can be matched with the case file. May take longer when fedexed to a general address.

RFE was really stupid: they wanted a copy of my first passport page & DL. That's despite the fact that copies of all my passports with birth certificates etc. were sent with I-485.

EAD application has some supporting documents

irrespective of it being included with I485 application.

Sometimes the message doesn't change. If it is fedexed you could see the tracking, if it has been delivered or not.

My Wife's EAD had a similar RFE generated on the same date. I send it by Priority mail and it was received by BCIS on October 1st. But the online message has not changed yet. Let me know if something changes.
