EAD renewal

Hi Gurus,


We applied for EAD renewal in June 03. I received my EAD few weeks ago.

My dependent working spouse got ref- as the attorney mis-spelt the name in the application form. (I know I should have applied myself)

EAD expires in a week. No H1.

what are the options:

1) go to Phylly BCIS for renewal
2) for some reason if not renewed at the local BCIS, is the spouse's stay legal after expiry of EAD.
3) could he continue to work

One option could be:

If your spouse's application (with the wrong spelling of the name) was filed 3 months ago; then (s)he could go the local office to get an interim EAD.

I am a lay person, not a legal expert....
