EAD renewal

My I485 is pending for more than a year. I have EAD but has not used since I was using H-1. My question is even if I have not used EAD, I can apply for its renewal for next year? Should I expect some tough questions from BCIS in regard to same? Any suggestion will be of great help.

You can renew your EAD no matter you used it or not. It's easy to renew.
