EAD renewal

Hi friends,
I have e-filed for renewal of my wife's EAD in CSC on 02/02/05. Her EAD was expired on 04/02/05, now she got a job (she never worked before) and the joining date is 04/18/05. CSC issued an RFE on her case and I replied and they received the supporting documents on 04/07/05.Looks like getting her EAD approved and receiving the EAD card by 04/18/05 is not possible.So what options do we have now other than extending the joining date??I really appreciate your quick response, bcos we are so worried now......

Honestly the only thing you can do is hope it comes by the time you need it.

You can go the ASC for interim EAD on 05/02 (~90 days) -- but since there was an RFE issued, they may not issue an interim EAD -- this greatly varies from center to center and also from case to case.

You may want to get started on the process of postponing her joining date.
