EAD renewal

My EAD expires on April 2005. I recently got a query on I-485 for paystubs and w2 and evl. Can I file for renewal myself or is it safe to go through the lawyer. His fee is around $400 for both of us not including the fees.
Please share your experience and the documents needed for this.
I am worried because of the query.

If you feel more safer going with the lawyer then go ahead...but i renewed myself and saved lawyer fees. Its definitely something one can do on their own. my EAD is also expiring on 4/2005 and i renewed a week ago.

In my opinion...

It is easy to e-file or manual file then paying an attorney. There is nothing much an attorney can add on the EAD application. I did it by myself and don't see any hassle. Renewal is faster than the first time filing also. You can see numerous posts on this and take a decision.

is there change in address to file EAD extension?

I downloaded I-765 form for EAD extension and it has some Chicago addres. I
filed my 485 in VSC office and my first EAD is also from VSC. Do I need to send it to new address?

which one is good e-file or paper file?
