Hey guys,
Have any of you filed for EAD renewal by yourselves? My lawyer sent me the renewal papers and was wondering if I could do it myself. It seems very straight forward. How long is it taking to approve EADs now??

Sure ...I did it myself

It is very simple and straight forward...You can do it without paying the lawyear
 
I did it myself, filed it on-line
Applied April 2004, received it July 2004
A lot of people on this forum recoment paper application and not online filing.

I was also thinking about including a letter indicating that I have yet to receive a FP notice. My ND is 06/2002 and going on the 3rd EAD. Any thoughts?
 
Including a letter about no FP will make no difference.
Those guys don't even open your file to check if you really have a 485 application pending.
They depend on you to provide them with a copy of your 485 reciept and copies of your last EAD...

I've tried faxing and sending letters.....no FP yet.
