Help on I140 Trigger

Hi,

I had files my 140 on 22 Sep 2003 and 1485 on Nov 22, 2003. I got my EAD and AP in Jan.140/485 still pending.

My Question is:

Can I file for EAD renewal hoping that it might trigger the I140 approval.

You are allowed to file for EAD renewal 6 months prior to its expiry. There is no such restriction on AP. So yes, you can apply. Now wether this will result in I-140 approval is a big question. You can try, there is no harm as some have reported approvals triggered by EAD and/or AP filing.

Bottomline is there is no gurantee, but you should give it a shot.
 
One thing is good news on your case...U have chance to conc approval.
because who got 140 approval earlier.. have wait more time than U per current NCS movements.

I am in the same boat, In-Delema.

EAD renewal is easy. Check out the following post on the the EAD/AP board.

However I don't see any instructions for AP renewal. Can anybody enlight me?
