EAD Renewal

My company did a concurrent filing of I-140/485/EAD/AP, while I was in L1B status, using labor substitution under EB2,as System Analyst/Proj Lead.

Recently my I-140 was approved. Prior to approval, My company has changed my L1 status to H1 status.
While filing for H1, they have used Programmner Analyst as designaiton.

Does this going to affect me during final approval of I-485?

Also, to renew my EAD, I need to mention my current visa status as H1B. Does this going to arise any queries?

Please advise.

Thanks,
RTN

On question "15. Current Immigration status" enter "Adjustment Applicant". You will be getting your EAD renewal based on your pending I-485 application.

Also make sure you enter C-9 on question "16. Eligibility Category"

As for the H1, it is a dual intent visa and it should not affect your I-485. The important issue is to make sure you have been in legal status during your whole stay in the US.

If you get employment verification RFE later on make sure the EVL matches the job title and duties specified in your I-140.

In such situation, what will be answer for question no#14. Please note that, my last entry into US was on H1 stamped in India.
And also, what will be answer for question #10, i.e., alien number or i_94 number.

Thanks,
RTN

For question #10: If you know your A number (it must be on your I-485 receipt notice) enter it. Otherwise you can enter the your last I-94 number.

For question #14: Enter H1B
